I’m not very good at small talk, but I enjoy having long, in-depth conversations on any subject I know enough about to contribute to.  

It hasn’t been until this last year, our seventh in Charleston, that I’ve really grown to thoroughly love my new home.  I have always loved the buildings, the history, and the weather.  But it’s only been in 2011 that I’ve grown to love the rivers, the marshes, the palm-frond strewn pine forests, the sandy soil, the myriad, meandering arms of live oaks — all the sights and sounds and even smells of the lowcountry.  This is home.
