What a beautiful day it is today.  It’s still winter, but it feels like high spring.  And on a Friday, too.  I couldn’t ask for more.

the-fanny asked: hey there. I love many of the pictures that you post here. They make me pretty homesick. At the oyster roast I went to tonight, the wind blew a paper cup out of someone’s hand.  After he bent down to pick it up again, an old guy who I did not know walked by and patted him on the back, and said, “Hash tag wind, huh?”

scurvyoaks replied to your post: After a year and some seven months, I finally… Congratulations! Could you tell us the names of the first two? Thanks!  They’re not published or anything yet, so you would never be able to find them at a bookstore (either online or an actual shop), but I hope to one day get published.  The first one, that I always say I’ll never let anyone read,...

After a year and some seven months, I finally finished writing my third novel.  I can’t tell you how relieved, accomplished and thankful I feel right now.

Spent another day downtown today, tried taking photographs again, but it was one of the gloomiest days I can remember so far this year, so the lighting will be horrible.  Not sure if I’ll end up posting any of them here or not (they’ll be on Flickr though).  I’m thankful that the weather is getting warm again, but can it be summer temperatures and bright, blue summer skies again,...
