Going to Folly Beach tomorrow.
Unless unforeseen disaster occurs, expect a good-sized posting of photos.   I can’t tell you how relieved I am that the weekend is here. I wasn’t all that excited about it until today, but I’m actually looking forward to 2012 now.  Definitely ready for a new year.

I saw this quote on someone else’s blog, and I have to say I disagree with this idea entirely.  Not about the art part.  I enjoy art as much as anyone, and I think it has an important place in human culture and life.  But I can’t imagine the sort of mindset that would consider existence a horror.  No matter how horrific the world actually is, no matter how much suffering I experience...
