Right now I am sitting on a bench in Washington Square, working on editing my book in the shade of live oaks, with views of Broad and Chalmers Street as well as all the historical monuments this park has to offer, listening to the songs of grackles and blue jays and a mockingbird or two. Man, I love this city.

Last exam of the semester: done. Now I have about a month or so until summer semester. I’m not sure what I’m going to do next, as my plan to transfer to College of Charleston this year didn’t work out for a lot of complicated reasons. Hopefully I’ll be able to use the time to finish editing, start research for, and perhaps start writing the second book.
